A variety of investors and mentors who support Lowell and Merrimack Valley’s growing innovation community will host office hours and lead a panel discussion about funding options and resources.
The evening will include the announcement of a new initiative, the Lowell Entrepreneurship Assistance Program (LEAP) giving founders from Lowell the opportunity to apply for a 6 month membership to The Capital Network to benefit from our programs, education and network.

Entrepreneur & Angel Investor Launchpad Venture Group Industry Champion, MassChallenge
Jessica McLear is an Angel Investor with Launchpad Ventures, Boston’s largest Angel Group and an Industry Champion and mentor at MassChallenge. Jessica is also a mentor for LearnLaunch, an Ed Tech Accelerator in Boston and a COO for KnipBio, a clean bio-tech aquaculture startup. On the board of a few companies – she’s both an experienced entrepreneur and investor.

Riley Rodgers is a Principal at Valia Investments, which is an early stage venture capital firm with an active presence in the US and Dubai. We empower companies by connecting them to world class organizations in the MENA region. Valia focuses on energy, education and retail technology. Prior to that Reilly was an associate at Arctaris Capital. He’s a mentor at many organizations including MassChallenge and SCORE and serves on TCN’s Advisory Board.

Through the Boston Financial & Equity Corporation, Matt works with Venture-backed start-ups and emerging growth companies providing financing for capital equipment. Analyze incoming opportunities, complete due diligence, communicate with C-level executives of prospective clients. Previously, Matt joined Trignis, a startup part of the Harvard i-Lab Venture Incubation Program.
